Privacy At A Glance
What this is— Truverto is a business-to-business service. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
We serve businesses — The Services are built for business use, not for profiling consumers. Most of the data we handle is business information you give us or connect to us.
The data exchange— With your direction, we share your business customers’ trade and payment information with business credit bureaus, and you get verified business data and credit insights back. You can opt out. See Section 7.
How we improve the product— We use data to run and improve the Services, including to train Truverto’s own credit-scoring, risk, and nalytics models. We do not use your data to train outside AI vendors’ general-purpose models. See Section 6.
Advertising and “Do Not Sell or Share” — Our website uses analytics and advertising tools (including cookies and pixels) that can count as a “sale” or “share” under California law. You can opt out, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals. See Section 3 and Section 9.
Your California rights — California residents can access, delete, and correct their personal information and opt out of sale or sharing. See Section 9.
The full notice controls — This summary is for convenience only. The numbered sections below are the actual Privacy Policy.
1. Who This Policy Covers; Key Terms
Who we are, who “you” is, and the words we capitalize.
This Privacy Policy (this “Privacy Policy”) explains how Truverto LLC, a New Hampshire limited liability company doing business as Truverto (“Truverto”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with our websites, applications, and services. It applies to truverto.com, app.truverto.com, agent.truverto.com, go.truverto.com, and our related or successor sites and applications (collectively, the “Site”), and to the products and services we provide through them (the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy works together with our Terms of Service (the “Terms”). Capitalized terms used but not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings given in the Terms. As in the Terms, you and your mean the business or organization that uses the Services, and the Services are intended for business use, not for personal, family, or household use.
A few terms are used throughout this Privacy Policy:
“Business Credit Bureaus” means commercial credit reporting companies and trade-data exchanges, such as Creditsafe and Dun & Bradstreet, that collect and provide information used for business credit purposes.
“CCPA” means the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.
“Customer Data” means the data you provide to us, or that we collect on your behalf through your connected systems, in connection with the Services, including information about your business and information about your customers, such as their identities, contact details, invoices, balances, and payment histories.
“Personal Information” means information that identifies, relates to, or could reasonably be linked with a particular individual or household, as defined under applicable privacy laws (including the CCPA). Personal Information does not include information that is aggregated, de-identified, or publicly available as those terms are used under applicable law.
“Trade Data” is the subset of Customer Data, consisting of your customers’ trade and accounts-receivable information, that may be submitted to business credit bureaus as described in Section 7.
2. The Information We Collect
What comes from you, from your connected systems, and automatically.
We collect the following categories of information:
Registration and Account Information. When you register, we collect information such as your name, business email address, company name, role, telephone number, and login credentials, and we keep this information current as you update it.
Customer Data from Your Connected Systems. When you connect an accounting, ERP, or other supported business system, we collect Customer Data, including information about your business customers such as their business names, addresses, contact details, account identifiers, invoices, balances, payment terms, and payment and aging histories. You provide this information, and you are responsible for it, under the Terms. Most Customer Data is business information; some of it may relate to individuals (for example, where a customer is a sole proprietor or where a personal email address is used for a business account).
Payment Information. When you purchase a paid subscription, our payment processor collects the information needed to process your payment, such as your billing contact, payment card or bank account details, and billing address. We do not store full payment card numbers ourselves; they are handled by our payment processor.
Information Collected Automatically. When you use the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect technical and usage information, such as your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring and exit pages, the pages and features you use, and the dates and times of access. We collect this information using cookies and similar technologies, including analytics and session-replay tools, as described in Section 3. Some of this information is, or may be combined to become, Personal Information.
Information from Third Parties. We may receive information about your business and your representatives from Business Credit Bureaus and other data providers, and from other users or administrators at your organization (for example, an account administrator who sets up or manages your access), or the third-party platforms you connect, in order to provide, verify, enhance, and secure the Services.
3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The analytics and advertising tools on our site, and what they do.
We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, tags, software development kits, and similar technologies (collectively, Cookies) on our Site for the purposes described below. You can control many Cookies as described in Section 8.
Essential and Functional. Cookies that are necessary to operate the Site, keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and maintain security.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the Site. Microsoft Clarity also provides session replay and heatmaps, which means it records on-page interactions such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolling, and the pages you view, to help us improve usability.
Advertising and Retargeting. We use Google Ads conversion tracking (for search and display advertising, including retargeting) and the LinkedIn Insight Tag (for advertising, including retargeting). These tools allow us and the advertising platforms to measure campaigns and show you Truverto ads on other sites and services.
Marketing and Email-to-Web Measurement. We use ActiveCampaign and Apollo tracking to understand whether recipients of our emails visit our Site and to prioritize outreach. Apollo also provides website-visitor identification for our prospecting.
Some of these advertising and marketing technologies involve disclosing identifiers and online activity to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. Under the CCPA, that disclosure may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of Personal Information, even though no money changes hands and even though we are a business-to-business company. We honor opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (“GPC”), and we provide opt-out choices, as described in Sections 8 and 9.
4. How We Use Information
Running the Services, improving them, and communicating with you.
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, maintain, secure, personalize, and support the Services, and operate the Credit Bureau Data Exchange described in Section 7;
- verify your identity and authority, administer your account, and process payments for your subscription to the Services;
- improve and develop the Services, including by developing, training, evaluating, and improving Truverto’s own proprietary credit-scoring, risk, and analytics models and algorithms, as described in Section 6;
- create and use aggregated and de-identified data for benchmarking, analytics, and reporting, in a form that does not identify you or any individual;
- communicate with you about the Services, including service, security, and transactional messages, and (subject to your choices) marketing messages;
- measure and improve our marketing, understand how the Site is used, and conduct research and analytics; and
- detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and other harmful or unlawful activity, and comply with law and enforce our agreements.
5. How We Share Information
Service providers, the bureaus, advertising partners, and legal or transaction situations.
We share information as described in this Privacy Policy and the Terms. We do not sell Personal Information for money. We share information in the following ways:
Service Providers and Sub-Processors. We share information with vendors that perform services for us under contract and on our instructions, including cloud hosting and infrastructure, artificial-intelligence providers, product analytics, marketing automation, sales and email prospecting, and, for paid subscriptions, payment processing. We maintain a current list of these service providers and sub-processors, by category and name, on our Service Providers and Sub-Processors Page (the “Service Providers and Sub-Processors Page”), which we update as our providers change.
Business Credit Bureaus. Through the Credit Bureau Data Exchange, and unless you opt out, we submit Trade Data to one or more Business Credit Bureaus on your behalf, as described in Section 7. Once submitted, Business Credit Bureaus use that Trade Data under their own rights and responsibilities, and not merely as our service providers.
Advertising and Marketing Partners. As described in Section 3, our use of advertising and analytics tools may disclose online identifiers and activity to advertising platforms (such as Google and LinkedIn) for cross-context behavioral advertising. Under the CCPA, this may be a sale or sharing of Personal Information, and you can opt out as described in Sections 8 and 9.
Aggregated and De-Identified Data. We share aggregated and de-identified data, which cannot reasonably be used to identify you or any individual, for benchmarking, research, marketing, and other commercial purposes.
Business Transfers. As we develop our business, we may buy, sell, or reorganize assets and businesses. In connection with any merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of all or part of our assets, bankruptcy, insolvency, or similar transaction or proceeding (or due diligence or negotiations for any such transaction or proceeding), Personal Information may be among the assets transferred or disclosed, and may be reviewed by the parties involved and their advisors. Following any such transfer, your Personal Information may be subject to a different privacy policy, which the acquiring or surviving entity will be responsible for communicating to you.
Legal, Safety, and Compliance. We may disclose information where we believe in good faith it is necessary to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request; to enforce our agreements; or to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Truverto, our users, or others.
6. Artificial Intelligence and Model Training
We use AI to power features and to improve our own models; we do not feed your data to vendors’ general models.
Some features of the Services use artificial intelligence and machine-learning technologies, including models provided by third-party AI providers (currently Anthropic and Google). We are continually working to improve the Services, and we may add or change AI providers from time to time. We disclose our AI providers by category and current name in Section 5.
Third-Party AI Providers. Where AI features process Customer Data, they do so to provide the Services to you. We do not use Customer Data, and we do not authorize any third-party AI provider to use Customer Data, to train general-purpose artificial-intelligence models, except using data that has been anonymized and aggregated.
Truverto’s Own Models. We do use Customer Data to develop, train, fine-tune, evaluate, and improve Truverto’s own proprietary models and algorithms for providing and improving the Services (including credit-scoring, risk, and analytics models). The resulting trained models and improvements do not contain or reproduce your Customer Data in identifiable form, and we may keep and use those models and improvements without time limit, including after your Customer Data is deleted or your subscription ends. We will not disclose your Customer Data in identifiable form to any third party except as described in this Privacy Policy or the Terms.
7. The Credit Bureau Data Exchange
How your customers’ trade data flows to bureaus, and your opt-out.
A central part of the Services is a data exchange with Business Credit Bureaus. After you connect an accounting or other supported business system, and unless you opt out, we submit Trade Data to one or more Business Credit Bureaus on your behalf, on a recurring basis, and in exchange you receive enhanced verified business information, risk scores, and credit insights. Simply registering for an account does not enroll you; the exchange begins only after you connect a system that makes Trade Data available. This program is described in detail in the Terms.
Bureaus do not Identify You as the Source. Business Credit Bureaus generally do not identify you as the source of Trade Data, except with your consent, as required by law, or as permitted under the applicable bureau program terms (for example, a bureau’s limited disclosure, after notice, to the subject of a trade reference in connection with a dispute).
Your Opt-Out. You may opt out of the exchange at any time, and separately for each Business Credit Bureau, through your account settings or by contacting us. An opt-out is prospective: it stops future submissions of your Trade Data to that bureau, but Trade Data already submitted remains subject to that Business Credit Bureau’s own rights and is not retrieved or deleted by us.
Commercial Accounts Only; United States Only. The exchange is limited to commercial trade data relating to business customers, and is available only to customers organized or based in the United States. We will reasonably honor, and assist the applicable Business Credit Bureau in honoring, verified privacy-law requests relating to Trade Data, including verified deletion requests passed to us through a Business Credit Bureau’s privacy-request channel, as described in Section 9.
8. Your Privacy Choices
Marketing, cookies, opt-out signals, and the bureau opt-out.
Marketing Email. You can unsubscribe from our marketing email at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. This applies to all users, including users of free or trial Services. We may still send you non-marketing messages of a service, transactional, security, or legal nature, which are part of using the Services.
Text Messages and Calls. We do not currently operate an SMS or pre-recorded-call marketing program. If we offer one in the future, we will obtain any consent required by law and provide a way to opt out (for example, by replying STOP).
Cookies and Advertising. You can manage Cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through the cookie-preferences or “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control on our Site. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC): when we detect a GPC signal from your browser, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of Personal Information for that browser, as described in Section 9.
The Data Exchange. You can opt out of the Credit Bureau Data Exchange, separately for each Business Credit Bureau, as described in Section 7.
9. California Privacy Rights
Rights for California residents, including Do Not Sell or Share.
This Section provides information required by the CCPA and applies to Personal Information of California residents. We provide these CCPA protections to California residents regardless of whether we meet the CCPA’s business thresholds. If we cross those thresholds, additional CCPA obligations may apply, and we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.
Categories We Collect. In the past twelve months, we have collected the following CCPA categories of Personal Information: identifiers (such as name, business email, and IP address); commercial information (such as account and billing records); internet or other electronic network activity (such as usage and interaction data from analytics and session-replay tools); professional or employment-related information (such as your role and company); and inferences drawn from the foregoing. We collect this information from the sources, and use it for the purposes, described in Sections 2 and 4. We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, government identifiers, precise geolocation, or other sensitive Personal Information through the Services.
Sale or Sharing. We do not sell Personal Information for money. However, our use of advertising and analytics tools (Section 3) may be considered a sale or sharing of identifiers and internet-activity information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA. You can opt out as described below. We do not have actual knowledge that we sell or share the Personal Information of consumers under 16 years of age.
Your Rights. Subject to the CCPA and verification, California residents may: (a) request to know the categories and specific pieces of Personal Information we have collected, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of third parties to whom we disclose it; (b) request deletion of their Personal Information; (c) request correction of inaccurate Personal Information; and (d) opt out of the sale or sharing of their Personal Information. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
How to Exercise Your Rights. You may submit a request by contacting us as described in Section 15, or by using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control and cookie-preferences tools on our Site. You may also exercise the opt-out by enabling the Global Privacy Control in your browser. We will verify your request using the information associated with your account or request, and you may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification. Because the Services are business-to-business, much of the Personal Information that relates to individuals is supplied by our business customers about their own customers; where a request concerns that information, or concerns a deletion request passed to us by a Business Credit Bureau through its privacy-request channel, we will reasonably honor it or assist the relevant business or bureau in honoring it, as described in Sections 7 and 15.
Retention. We retain Personal Information as described in Section 10.
10. Data Retention
How long we keep data, and what happens when your account ends.
Two things outlast deletion of your Customer Data: (a) Trade Data already submitted to a Business Credit Bureau remains in that bureau’s systems under its own rights, as described in Section 7; and (b) aggregated and de-identified data, and the trained models and improvements described in Section 6 (which do not contain your Customer Data in identifiable form), may be retained without time limit.
11. Data Security
Industry-standard safeguards; no method is perfectly secure.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure, consistent with prevailing industry standards, and we encrypt Personal Information and financial data in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for the security of your own systems, credentials, and internet connection. If a data incident affecting your information occurs, we will notify you as required by applicable law and will reasonably cooperate in investigating it.
12. Where We Store and Process Data
We store and process data in the United States.
We store and process Personal Information and other information on servers located in the United States. The Credit Bureau Data Exchange is available only to customers organized or based in the United States, as described in Section 7. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States. We do not currently offer the Services to customers based in other countries outside the United States; if that changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any additional disclosures required by the applicable jurisdiction.
13. Children’s Privacy
The Services are not for children.
The Services are intended for businesses and the individuals who use them in a business capacity, and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from anyone under 18 years of age. If you believe a child has provided us Personal Information, please contact us as described in Section 15, and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We’ll give notice of material changes, consistent with the Terms.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make a material change, we will provide notice before the change takes effect, by email, in-product notice, or both, consistent with the change-notice approach in the Terms, and we will update the “Last Updated” date above and maintain a list of material changes and their effective dates below. Non-material updates are effective when posted. Your continued use of the Services after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Privacy Policy. Where a change concerns our use or sharing of identifiable Customer Data, it is subject to the corresponding provisions of the Terms.
15. How to Contact Us; Privacy Requests
How to reach us with privacy questions or requests.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, or wish to exercise a privacy right or submit a request, you can contact us at support@truverto.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line, or through the contact and privacy controls on our Site. For deletion, correction, or opt-out requests relating to Trade Data that a Business Credit Bureau passes to us, we will use the bureau’s designated privacy-request channel and reasonably cooperate to honor verified requests, as described in Sections 7 and 9.
List of material changes: June 29, 2026: Initial publication of the rebuilt Privacy Policy, adding California privacy rights, the cookies and tracking-technologies disclosures, the Credit Bureau Data Exchange and AI and model-training disclosures, and the updated change-notice process.
